Navagraha (Sanskrit for “nine celestial influencers“) refers to the Sun, Moon, five visible planets (Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn), and the two lunar nodes (Rahu and Ketu) in Vedic astrology, seen as deities influencing human life and destiny, with remedies like mantras and pujas used to mitigate negative effects. These nine figures form the core of Hindu astrology, guiding personality, challenges, and spiritual paths, with idols often arranged with the Sun at the center.
